Rev. Dave Weidlich

I am a fellow traveler on a journey with God. I was born and raised in a family of eight in North Carolina, Michigan and Nebraska. My parents encouraged us to grow spiritually as well as physically and mentally. They were the ones who introduced me to Jesus Christ and led me to pray for forgiveness and to become part of God’s family. I am grateful to have been married to Carol for eighteen years even though it ended in divorce. We have two grown children, Daniel and Kimberly.

Through many valleys and mountains, God has been present and faithful and I am blessed. My purpose in life is to experience the love of God through faith and share God’s love with others. It has been an honor to serve as a teaching pastor for Grace Community Church since 2012. I am a pastor by calling and training. I previously served Presbyterian and non-denominational churches in Denver CO, Fair Oaks CA, Aloha OR and Petaluma, CA.

I am a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary (D.Min.) and Denver Seminary (M.Div.). I am certified as Natural Church Development coach and Healthy Congregations trainer. I am available to speak in churches, camps and conferences.

I own and operate Advanced Dry Carpet Care, a business providing cleaning for carpet, area rugs, upholstery, tile and grout in San Francisco, Marin County and Sonoma County. In addition to the fun that comes from work and ministry with great people, I enjoy gardening, kayaking, bike riding, hiking and riding my Ninebot One, an electric unicycle.
